OJ all over again?

This is obviously not rap related but I couldn't help it. With the verdict coming in on the Casey Anthony trial, I was appalled by the fact that she's essentially walking away although the majority of the evidence points to her. Of course, implications are not enough in our legal system so the jury has to declare her not guilty. Sounds like a similar case back in the 90's.... So this day ends with no justice for Caylee and a potential murderer facing a maximum sentence of 4 years. There's a better chance she'll be out within a year since she's been in jail during the whole trial. I personally think it's bullshit and would like to see some new legislation as a result, but that's doubtful. Sorry America, but your system failed us in this case.

  2. I'm just astounded... how did she not get convicted?

  3. Despite her being a compulsive liar, her track record with getting her story straight is quite unnerving.

  4. she wasn't convicted because they couldn't match the duct tape to the roll she owned, couldn't find a motive, couldn't figure how the body got to the dump site and couldn't prove it was actually her kid. justice turned a blind eye again. although out of this tragedy a new federal law was passed saying you have to report missing kids or else its a federal offense.

  5. At least the law would be some step towards justice for Caylee; it's better than nothing.
